In a skill driven, labour intensive industry such as jewelry manufacturing, the wellbeing, and mental attitude of all Pranda employees, at every level, is essential to success, as is their awareness of the importance of “Core Values”

Pranda Core Values refer to the principals of concepts and guidelines mutually believed in and practiced by all personnel.Following these Core Values is viewed as a valuable asset and main driver to achieve organizational goals. The following 3 Pranda Core Values originated from brainstorming sessions held Pranda Group member companies.

These Corporate Core values are derived by thoughts, actions and opinions of our production and supporting personnel over several months to identify the importance of these values in the every day work.

2009: a year of core value promotion within PRANDA

PRANDA GROUP has grown and prospered for over 38 years from crafting jewelry products which are shipped to markets around the world and now has worldwide recognition Since the outset, the group has operated business with social responsibility and more importantly the organization core values which fully comply with the Company vision “ Pranda: the world class jewelry brand company.”


1.Learning Center of PRANDA GROUP.  The learning center is established to build up corporate culture that helps facilitate the learning climate throughout all components of the organization and systemize learning process to ensure the linkage of learning and actual practice in order to increase productivity and product innovations. This will eventually enable the organization to well adjust to external environment which normally comes up with rapid changes. 

2.Bilateral education and career support to the disabled persons. In a move to prommote, support and create values to society as a whole, the Companyis committed to developing the program to promote career to the disabled persons and offer educational to the needy students who are interested in jewelry study. The program has been operated on a continued basis since with over 500 graduates. Over 20 disabled persons have currently worked for the Company, leading Pranda to be chosen as the outstanding enterprise which supports and promotes careers to the handicapped persons and win a number of awards. So far, there are over 17 disabled workers who work in the Company s pilot project.

3.Savings co-operatives for employees of Pranda Jewelry Group. The co-operatives have been founded in 2008 according to the sufficiency economy philosophy with an objective to promote savings among employees and provide financial services in accordance with the general practices of savings co-operatives. The Company, in addition, has provided and promoted better understanding of the right financial planning and management to members which now amount to 1,900.

4.Sharing and Charity to Society. The Company has participated in various development projects, be it run by communities, temples, educational institutes, schools, district administration and government units such as blood donation which has been carried every three months. In addition, the Company has participated in donation activities to the compatriots who are hit by natural disasters.

5. Child Development Center The center has been operated for 25th consecutive year to look after children of the Company employees, and so far taken care of over 900 children. The center has also impressed a number of outside agencies including the mass media both in and outside Thailand to visit and observe the way the Company manages and administers the center..

6. Organizational development approach and Energy Conservation. The company has applied seven approaches in organization development (organization, neatness, cleaning, standardization, training and discipline, innovation and suggestion) on a continuing basis throughout the years while promoting activities that support energy conservation. The program aims to encourage employees to have better discipline in environmental care and waste sorting. The waste bank has been founded to support the purchase of garbage from employees. This scheme not only promotes environmental responsibility among employees but also helps generate them extra income.

7. Debt solutions and legal advice. The Company has also given importance of daily life of employees as part to boost morale and moral support to them and is thus committed to developing the Company as a second home of employees that could enable them to rely on and be happy while staying and working.

8. Travelling expense reduction project. This is truly a project that strengthens cooperation and participation among employee fellows such as carpooling, the sharing of car journeys so that more than one person travels in a car on Car Free Day.

9. Quality of life development project. A myriad of several activities are initiated for employees such as yoga exercises, aerobic exercise and training to develop the quality of life and elevate their spirit and spirituality.

10. Innovation promotion project. The project has been implemented for the third consecutive year, allowing opportunity for employees who come up with creative idea and creativity developed from working experiences to expand and invent the work piece that can benefits the Company’s operation and be subsequently transmitted to the colleagues for further development and practice in each department.
