Mar 25, 2022

On March 11, 2022, Pranda Jewelry Public Company Limited, presented by Mr. Chanat Sorakraikitikul, Chairman of Finance & Risk Management Committee, and Mr. Dusit Chongsutthanamanee, Finance & Risk Management Committee, presented information at the ‘Opportunity Day’ event to present the financial results for the fourth quarter of 2021, estimate the overall performance of Pranda Group in 2021 as well as set the overall sales target for 2022 to grow 30% reaching 3,500 million baht. Due to the economic recovery, the company’s three main bases including; production base, distribution base, and retail base have increased significantly. Pranda Group had a sales revenue of 1,017.15 million baht in the fourth quarter (increased by 31.15 %). The important factor was sales in the production base, due to the high rates of economic growth in European countries and the United States which were the main customer bases.

For distribution base, India’s economy has recovered since the third quarter of 2021 after the company started its local production to support the increased purchasing power in India, resulting in an increase in sales revenue compared to the same period last year. For Retail base, which was 23% of overall sales, the company increased sales by 6% due to the measures to ease the lockdown in Thailand and Vietnam in the fourth quarter of 2021.

However, the company could nearly reach the sales target for 2022 to grow 30%, reaching 3,500 million baht in the first quarter due to the number of orders coming in from the production base. Prima Thailand and Prima Vietnam could not achieve their sales goals. Nevertheless, Prima India started its domestic production as well as added more distribution points to provide more opportunities for continuous development and growth. This meeting via a VDO conference took place at Pranda Jewelry Public Company Limited.
