Pranda Advances Its Sustainability Commitment with “Earth Hour Day 2026,” Empowering Employees to Drive Change

Mar 23, 2026

Pranda reaffirms its commitment to sustainability by fostering employee engagement across the organization through the “Pranda Earth Hour Day 2026” campaign, in celebration of Earth Hour Day on March 28, 2026. The initiative aims to inspire practical, everyday behavioral changes that contribute to environmental conservation.

The campaign focuses on driving continuous participation in the lead-up to Earth Hour, encouraging employees to adopt more sustainable habits both at work and at home. These include turning off lights and unplugging electrical devices when not in use, conserving water, using reusable cups and tote bags instead of single-use plastics, finishing meals to reduce food waste, and properly sorting waste. Activities will run from March 23–28, 2026, to reinforce engagement and build lasting habits.

In parallel, employees are invited to share their eco-friendly lifestyles on social media using the hashtag #PrandaEarthHour2026, amplifying the impact beyond the organization and into the wider community.

A key highlight of the campaign is the “1-Hour Air Conditioning Shutdown” at Pranda’s Bangkok factory on March 28, 2026. The initiative will be implemented in two 30-minute intervals—before lunch and before the end of the workday—reflecting a simple yet impactful approach to energy conservation at an organizational level.

The initiative is expected to save approximately 22.19 kWh of energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 105.54 kgCO2e, and deliver an environmental benefit equivalent to the annual carbon absorption of approximately 7–11 trees. This demonstrates how small, collective actions can generate meaningful environmental impact.

“Pranda Earth Hour Day 2026” represents more than participation in a global movement—it reflects Pranda’s ongoing commitment to embedding sustainability into its business practices, with employees playing a central role in driving positive environmental change.
