On International Women’s Day, Pranda reaffirms its long-standing commitment to gender equality and the advancement of women at every level of the organization. This commitment reflects the Company’s belief that sustainable business growth must be built on fairness, respect for human dignity, and equal opportunity for all.

Founded 53 years ago in Thailand, Pranda was established through the shared vision of seven founders — five women and two men — demonstrating from the outset a strong belief in equal partnership and shared leadership. Beyond building a successful jewelry business, the founders embedded a culture that values both excellence in craftsmanship and the intrinsic worth of people. The conviction that human potential is the foundation of long-term success continues to shape the Company’s culture across generations.
In the jewelry and gemstone industry, where precision, creativity, and craftsmanship are essential, women have long played a vital role in driving Pranda’s success. Today, women represent 68.24% of the Company’s total workforce, while 75.86% of management positions are held by women. These figures reflect an inclusive organizational environment where women are empowered to grow professionally and assume leadership roles.
Pranda’s commitment to equality extends beyond representation. The Company implements transparent and merit-based management practices, including compensation structures grounded in capability and performance. By prioritizing fairness and measurable outcomes, Pranda fosters income equity and ensures that career progression is based on talent and contribution.
Mrs. Pranee Khunprasert, one of the Company’s founders and Chair of the Group Executive Committee, stated:

“Equality is not merely a policy — it is a leadership responsibility. We are committed to creating an environment where opportunities are genuinely accessible to all. Women bring creativity, resilience, and diverse perspectives that strengthen our organization and support long-term growth.
Our role is to ensure that every woman has the opportunity to contribute, participate in decision-making, and advance confidently into leadership roles. When an organization respects diversity and nurtures individual potential, growth becomes more sustainable and creates lasting positive impact for families, communities, and society.”
Beyond career development, Pranda prioritizes employee well-being, recognizing the important role many women hold as mothers and family leaders. Since 1992, the Company has operated an on-site Child Development Center to support working parents. The center enables employees to balance professional responsibilities with family life, fostering both productivity and peace of mind.

A female employee who has progressed in her career while raising a child shared:
“Having access to childcare within the workplace has made balancing work and family significantly easier. Knowing that my child is cared for by trained professionals in a safe and nurturing environment allows me to focus fully on my responsibilities. The center not only supports my child’s development but also reduces family expenses and gives me the opportunity to spend meaningful time together during the day. This support enables me to perform at my best, just like any other employee.”
In 2024, Pranda’s Child Development Center was recognized by Thailand’s Department of Labour Protection and Welfare as a Model Workplace Childcare Center, reflecting its high standards and the Company’s tangible commitment to supporting employees and their families.
On this International Women’s Day, Pranda reaffirms its dedication to advancing gender equality, expanding opportunities, and empowering women in every dimension of the organization. Through inclusive leadership and responsible business practices, the Company remains committed to contributing to a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable future for all.
