Fostering Talent and Craftsmanship for a Sustainable Future in the Gem and Jewelry Industry
Pranda Jewelry Public Company Limited recently marked the achievements of 44 graduates from its Bilateral Vocational Education Program in Gem and Jewelry Craftsmanship for the 2024 academic year. The graduation ceremony was held with warmth and pride, attended by Pranda’s executives and production experts, who congratulated and encouraged the newly skilled artisans as they embark on their professional journeys.

Mr. Pramote Tiasuwan, Managing Director – Production and Chairman of the Bilateral Vocational Education Program, delivered an inspiring message during the ceremony:
“Education is the key to unlocking a better future. The Bilateral Vocational Education Program not only strengthens students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills, but also provides income opportunities during their studies and employment upon graduation. This helps improve their quality of life and ensures long-term career stability.”
He also emphasized the importance of craftsmanship in sustaining the gem and jewelry industry:
“Artisans are at the heart of creating value in jewelry. Pranda remains committed to supporting and nurturing skilled craftspeople to grow alongside Thailand’s gem and jewelry industry.”
Launched in 2000 through a partnership between Pranda Jewelry and the Golden Jubilee Royal Goldsmith College, the Bilateral Vocational Education Program offers a comprehensive curriculum leading to a vocational certificate in jewelry and gemstone craftsmanship. The program integrates academic learning with practical training to ensure students meet industry standards and are prepared for employment in the field.
A student representative shared heartfelt words of appreciation during the event:
“Thank you, Pranda, for believing in us and giving us this opportunity. You cared for us like family, and we’re proud of every piece of jewelry we’ve helped create.”

As part of its long-standing commitment to education and skill development, Pranda continues to invest in the next generation of artisans—empowering them to thrive, while contributing to the sustainable growth of Thailand’s gem and jewelry industry.
