Pranda Jewelry revealed continuous growth in the Q2/2022 results.

Pranda Jewelry Public Company Limited or “PDJ”, the leading manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of fine jewelry products in Thailand, and the leader in Thai jewelry exports with its customer base covering key regions from North America to Europe and Asia, has revealed the company’s performance. The results showed that the business operations have recovered, the company has been consistently profitable for the past 4 quarters.

Mr. Chanat Sorakraikitikul, Chairman of Finance & Risk Management Committee of Pranda Jewelry Public Company Limited, revealed the overall economy in 2022. Although the world economy tends to slow down due to negative factors such as the Russia-Ukraine war, the tight monetary policy by the central bank, and high inflation, the luxury industry has the opportunity to grow corresponding to the order quantity in the second quarter and the orders during early July 2022. The company has witnessed the highest order in the past 3 years showing confidence in the company’s customer base demand.

For the results of the second quarter of 2022, the company’s overall sales were 878 million baht (77% from the manufacturing business) due to the increasing order during the second quarter of 2022 from the operations planning with customers in sending a large number of pre-orders.

In addition, Pranda Jewelry has grown 23% from the omnichannel distribution by selling products under their owned brands through omnichannel which is more convenient for customers. The company also expanded its distribution channel using an online channel to reach customers around the world. Moreover, sales growth from Prima Gold Thailand has increased the quarterly operating profit. The company has earned revenues continuously for the past 4 quarters indicating the company’s strong financial health.
