PRANDA participated in the press conference for the 74th Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair on August 11, 2026, at Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse, Bangkok. The event was organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (Public Organization) (GIT). Mrs. Prapee Sorakraikitikul, Chairman of the Advisory Board of PRANDA and Chairman of the Gems, Jewelry and Precious Metals Confederation of Thailand, attended the press conference.
A key focus of the 74th Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair is to support Thai businesses in moving beyond OEM manufacturing toward Original Design Manufacturing (ODM), while promoting Thai jewelry brands and enhancing their recognition in international markets. The Designer Zone will serve as a special showcase for Thai designers, highlighting their creativity alongside Thailand’s manufacturing expertise and demonstrating the industry’s potential to create greater value through design, creativity, and brand development.
On this occasion, jewelry from the “SIAM PANARAI” Collection by PRIMA was featured in the fashion show at the press conference. Inspired by the Thai numeral “๑,” symbolizing being first and one of a kind, the collection combines 99.9% pure gold and quality diamonds with the refinement of Thai craftsmanship. Signature techniques, including intricate silk-line engraving and polished finishing, reflect PRIMA’s craftsmanship and bring a contemporary expression of Thai identity to the collection. The collection also demonstrates how Thailand’s manufacturing expertise can be further developed into distinctive creations that add value through design and creativity.
The 74th Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair will take place from September 8–12, 2026, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event is expected to bring together more than 1,300 exhibitors from over 20 countries, serving as an important platform for promoting trade and showcasing the capabilities of Thailand’s gems and jewelry industry to the global market.
