Mr. Prida Tiasuwan, Founder Chairman of PRANDA, participated in Forward Faster Now APAC 2026, held on 11–12 August 2026 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The event provided a platform for business leaders and sustainability experts from across the Asia-Pacific region to exchange perspectives and experiences on responsible business practices amid growing expectations from governments, investors, and consumers regarding human rights and environmental responsibility.
During the event, Mr. Prida joined the panel discussion “From Commitment to Enforcement,” organized by the UN Global Compact Network Thailand and theUN Global Compact Network Nepal. The discussion explored how businesses in Asia can prepare for the growing importance of Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD), as related requirements are becoming increasingly established and legally binding in several countries. Panelists exchanged perspectives on strengthening corporate governance, leadership, and internal management systems to align with international standards.
Business today is increasingly expected to look beyond financial performance and consider its impacts across the entire value chain, particularly in relation to human rights and the environment. Integrating due diligence processes into decision-making and value chain management enables organizations to systematically identify, assess, and address risks, while strengthening their ability to respond to changing conditions and evolving stakeholder expectations.
For PRANDA, participation in this regional forum provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and perspectives with business leaders and sustainability experts from across Asia, while gaining insights into evolving expectations and developments related to human rights, the environment, and responsibility throughout the value chain. These issues are increasingly important to long-term business operations and form part of PRANDA’s efforts to strengthen its practices in alignment with international standards.
Forward Faster Now APAC 2026 was organized by the UN Global Compact Network Sri Lanka, together with the UN Global Compact Asia & Oceania Regional Team and UN Global Compact networks across 15 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. The event brought together business leaders, sustainability experts, and change-makers to exchange perspectives, strengthen collaboration, and accelerate action by businesses in alignment with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
