Pranda receives RJC certification for the third consecutive time, highlighting its adherence to international sustainability standards.

Pranda Jewelry Public Company Limited, a world-leading jewelry manufacturer, has received certification for social and environmental standards internationally for the third consecutive time from the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), an international non-profit organization that sets standards for gem and jewelry production across the supply chain, emphasizing social and environmental responsibility.

Pranda’s Head Office in Bangkok and its branch in Nakhon Ratchasima have been accredited by RJC since 2017, with continuous renewal up to the present. This certification, verified by a third-party auditor, ensures accuracy and compliance with the RJC Code of Practice, which encompasses four principles: business ethics, human rights, social and environmental operations, and management. It serves as a tool to instill confidence among customers and stakeholders regarding the company’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility in the jewelry business, showcasing the authenticity of products and raw materials from sourcing methods, origins, traceability, processing, to retail stores.

Receiving continuous international standard certification further enhances the company’s strong image of sustainable development across its entire jewelry manufacturing and Omnichannel Distribution business groups. It effectively supports competition in the gem and jewelry industry both domestically and internationally, addressing the growing importance of environmentally sustainable purchasing decisions by consumers worldwide. Beyond product quality, value, and style, the importance of ethically sourcing raw materials and upholding social responsibility in purchasing decisions for gems and jewelry is acknowledged.

As Pranda embarks on its sixth decade, our commitment remains steadfast in conducting responsible business. We aspire to be a conscientious contributor to the community, society, and the global landscape, actively participating in the growth and development of the gem and jewelry industry, and fostering comprehensive sustainability across all dimensions.
