Key Highlights of Pranda’s Sustainability Initiatives Featured at the Event:
Creating Employment and Empowering People with Disabilities:
Pranda is devoted to creating an inclusive work environment that recognizes and nurtures the talents of people with disabilities. The company offers meaningful employment opportunities that match individual strengths, promoting career growth and personal development. This initiative not only enhances their quality of life but also reinforces their dignity and respect within the community.
Pranda Child Development Center:
Understanding the significance of a nurturing family environment, Pranda established an on-site Child Development Center for employees’ preschool-aged children. Staffed by professionally trained caregivers, the center provides a safe and stimulating environment that supports the children’s holistic development. This service enables parents to work with peace of mind, knowing their children are in good hands, while fostering strong family ties and overall well-being.
24 Years of Bilateral Education Program in Gem and Jewelry:
Since 2000, Pranda has partnered with the Golden Jubilee Royal Goldsmith College to offer a specialized Bilateral Education Program in Gem and Jewelry. This initiative, which awards a Vocational Certificate recognized by Thailand’s Office of the Vocational Education Commission, has produced over 2,500 skilled professionals who now contribute to the nation’s thriving gem and jewelry industry.
At the event’s exhibition, Pranda joined 27 other organizations and partners in the UN Global Compact Network Thailand’s “SI: Sustainable Intelligence” initiative. The exhibit highlights innovative solutions aimed at achieving the SDGs, inspiring students to explore the critical role of science and technology in building a sustainable future.
