Pranda is proud to reaffirm its dedication to sustainability and corporate social responsibility with the continuation of its ‘Old Calendars, We Ask’ project for the seventh consecutive year. This initiative reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to create a positive impact in both the community and the environment.
This year, Pranda collected and donated 650 old desk calendars to the Education Technology Center for the Blind, Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage. These calendars will be repurposed to create braille educational materials, providing enhanced learning opportunities for visually impaired individuals and promoting inclusive education.
In addition to its social impact, the project also contributes to environmental sustainability. By reusing old calendars, the initiative helps reduce waste and significantly lowers greenhouse gas emissions, with an estimated reduction of 259.67 kilograms of CO2 equivalent (kgCO2e). This aligns with Pranda’s commitment to responsible resource management and minimizing its environmental footprint.
The ‘Old Calendars, We Ask’ project is a testament to Pranda’s core values of community engagement and environmental stewardship. Through the collective efforts of the company’s executives and employees, the initiative exemplifies Pranda’s dedication to making a meaningful difference and fostering positive change for society and the planet.
Pranda remains committed to supporting equal opportunities for all, with a special focus on empowering individuals with disabilities by providing access to education and skill development, enabling them to lead fulfilling and dignified lives.
