Pranda Empowers Employees to Go Green: Turning Waste into Merit

Feb 13, 2025

Pranda Jewelry Public Company Limited is committed to promoting employee engagement in environmental conservation through the “Waste Bank” project. This initiative is part of the company’s waste management strategy, aiming to reduce waste volume while establishing a systematic and efficient waste sorting process. The project fosters environmental awareness and transforms discarded materials into valuable resources.

On Monday, February 10, 2025, representatives from Pranda’s Waste Bank team delivered 662 kilograms of recyclable waste—including plastic bottles and cardboard boxes—collected by employees to Bangna District Office. This contribution was part of the “Recycled Waste for Merit” campaign, which converts waste into charitable donations. The proceeds from recycling were donated to Phong Ploy Wiriyaram Temple to support the preservation of Buddhist teachings in observance of Makha Bucha Day.

Pranda’s Waste Bank project not only helps reduce waste within the organization but also encourages employees to adopt proper waste management practices and actively participate in environmental protection. Moreover, it serves as an inspiration for employees to integrate these sustainable habits into their daily lives. The company envisions this initiative as a driving force for sustainable waste management in society while instilling a long-term environmental consciousness within the organization.
