Pranda Jewelry Public Company Limited organized the royal volunteer activity “Pranda doing good deeds for the community” to give the royal charity to His Majesty King Rama X on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty’s Birthday Anniversary on 28 July, 2022, in order to display loyalty and gratitude toward the King.
Pranda Jewelry together with the Royal GoldSmith joined the royal volunteer activity encouraging employees from Pranda Jewelry and bilateral students from the Royal GoldSmith to volunteer their time for public spaces by cleaning up and improving the environments around the company and the local community nearby. Another activity was cleaning up UHT milk boxes for the UHT milk box recycling campaign to reproduce Braille paper products for the visually impaired and donate to schools for the blind across the country. Moreover, Pranda Jewelry also donated “Pranda” drinking water to the Bang Na District Office to support their volunteer works in developing public places for the community.
Prof. Dr. Channarong Pornrungroj, Chairman of Core Values & Corporate Sustainability Committee of Pranda Jewelry Public Company Limited, addressed that “Pranda Jewelry is Thailand’s leading organization in gems and jewelry product exports with a principle of sustainable growth, good governance, social and environmental responsibility which are considered as important factors in business operations. This “Pranda volunteer activity” was held to carry out the royal initiatives of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua under the project “Good Deeds from the Heart” started by doing small things such as cleaning up and improving your own communities. What Pranda Jewelry upholds is the heart that is ready to deliver goodwill towards fellow human beings with willingness, contentment and joy, ready to sacrifice time, physical and mental effort to do public service activities that benefit others without expecting anything in return in order to build strong communities and improve the quality of life for all citizens, as well as driving the country towards stability, security, and sustainability for the next generation.
