Pranda Commitments

Environmental

REDUCE
Pranda uses a reverse osmosis water filtration system to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from tap water production and plans to implement solar panels to reduce non-renewable energy consumption. The waste management department also works to reduce food waste headed to landfills and in order to reduce single-use plastic usage, we offer biodegradable polybag options for packaging.
The company aims to reduce GHG emissions to 15% BAU (business as usual in 2021) by 2024 and 25% BAU by 2030, with the ultimate goal of net zero emissions by 2050.

RECYCLE
As a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), Pranda provides options for certified recycled metals, including silver and gold, while repurposing gemstones and other raw materials. We have also established a “Waste Bank” for recycling other waste materials and equipment wherever possible.
Social

PRANDA PEOPLE
Family Institution – Pranda treats its employees
lie real people, with families and futures. Working
parents can feel at ease knowing they can leave their
little ones at our Preschool Child Development
Centre, and career-oriented employees will find
plenty of opportunities for training at Pranda.
Welfare – It’s easier to bear financial burdens
together. Pranda offers several facilities, including a
subsidised canteen for affordable, clean, and
nutritious food and affordable accommodations that
include sports facilities, park, medical centre, and
library to help shoulder employees’ living expenses.
Pranda employees can also participate in our savings
& credit cooperatives, which encourage savings,
manage debt, and provide financial assistance.

EQUALITY & INCLUSIVITY
Our belief in taking care of the Pranda family also
means fostering a safe and inclusive work
environment that promotes the employment of
persons with disabilities, does not discriminate
against LGBTQ+ professionals, and empowers
women to excel at every level of the corporate
hierarchy. We provide nursing rooms, support
groups, and seminars for new mothers, helping
women to balance career and family. Women
currently make up over 80% of all employees,
including at the management level.
